The contraceptive ring (Nuvaring) is a flexible plastic ring containing hormones. You wear it in your vagina. You insert the ring yourself once a month. After three weeks, you remove it again. Then you have a stop week and a period. If you stop using the ring, you can soon become pregnant again.
Advantages: Three weeks per month, you do not have to think about it. You can postpone your period by skipping your stop week.
Disadvantages: The ring can slip out during sex. You can get a maximum of three rings at one time from your pharmacy.
